Privacy Policy

What we collect

We do not require registration, and there are no user accounts.

When you visit this website, technical connection data is processed (for example IP address, requested URL, date/time, user agent, and referrer). This is required to deliver the website securely and reliably.

Tool input

All tools on this site process your input in your browser. Your text, data, and values are never sent to our servers. We cannot see, read, or store anything you type into a tool.

Cookies and storage

Some features use browser storage (for example localStorage) to remember local preferences such as theme settings. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.

Analytics integrations may set cookies as described below.

Matomo analytics

We use Matomo (self-hosted at matomo.nanotool.ing) to understand aggregate usage of our pages.

Categories of data processed by Matomo can include: visited pages, timestamp, referrer, browser/device information, and IP-derived technical metadata. Your tool input and output are not sent to Matomo.

Legal basis (GDPR): Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in measuring and improving website quality, security, and performance).

You can prevent analytics collection by blocking scripts in your browser or using privacy extensions. If your browser sends a Do-Not-Track signal, we aim to respect that where technically possible.

Buy Me a Coffee integration

We embed the Buy Me a Coffee button via scripts loaded from cdnjs.buymeacoffee.com. When this widget loads, your browser connects to Buy Me a Coffee/CDN servers and may transmit technical data (for example IP address, user agent, referrer, and request metadata).

If you click the donation button, you are redirected to Buy Me a Coffee (buymeacoffee.com). Further processing then occurs under Buy Me a Coffee's own privacy policy.

Legal basis (GDPR): Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in offering a voluntary support/donation option).

Because this integration may involve providers outside the EU/EEA, data may be transferred to third countries. Such transfers are based on the provider's legal transfer mechanisms.

Your rights

If GDPR applies, you generally have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
